The Dethick Brothers specialise in creating original and eclectic soundtrack music and character-led songs for film and radio, and to date have written and performed over 150 individual pieces. They are award-nominated composers and multi-instrumentalists whose writing and collaboration explores many different genres, from gypsy jazz, ragtime, country blues, rock ‘n’ roll and Vaudeville-era comic songs, to heavy metal, synth-pop, experimental electronica, ambient soundscapes and psychedelic rock. They often employ unorthodox recording techniques in unusual locations, and are particularly interested in using vintage, rare and homemade equipment and instruments.
